What an Effective Business Plan Covers
A good business plan would include the following:
-
An executive Summary that focuses on the most important points.
-
Provide an overview of the company, including its purpose, any relevant experience, and organisational make-up.
-
Market: Can you describe your market in terms such as national or local, private or public?
-
Which companies do you consider to be your main competitors?
-
Sales and Marketing – Describe in detail how you intend to market the company.
-
Management: How do you plan to cover critical areas such as sales, marketing, finances, and administrative work? Do you intend to hire staff?
-
Operation – how will the business be run, for example, from its current location or from the owner’s home?
-
The Financial Forecast will provide a numerical summary of the company.
We recommend preparing a 3- 5 year cash flow, profit and loss, and balance sheet projection by month. Our team uses the latest software to create fully interlinked projections, so you can see how changes in one area of your business will affect other areas.
